Men's Vintage Ratchet Belt – Casual Everyday Belt with Micro-Adjust Fit

Got this belt on sale so got my $ worth from it. Leather veneer started fraying after ~ 6 mo of use. After 18 mo the ratchet of the buckle broke. Most my belts have lasted 2-3 as long. This was my first time trying the ratchet buckle and do like that feature. But neither belt nor buckle were as durable as expected.

Belt is thick and buckle is heavy duty. It seems well made and built to last, unlike some other ratchet belts. Great belt for reasonable price.

This is a great ratchet belt, I own several from other manufacturers, and this is easily one of the best ones. Great construction, feels like a solid belt, holds up well (so far). Buying two more of the dresser versions.

That was what I originally thought, but it is now extremely noisy. The metal creaks and whines when I walk or do any movement. Additionally, the fake tongue notch indents kn the leather, and doesn’t look good anymore.

Since I discovered these ratcheting belts a while back I have purchased two and I really like how they work and feel. I have purchased many leather belts in my lifetime, but this is the first with the ratcheting mechanism. The mechanism seems very well made and the leather is a good quality, thicker leather. Better than most traditional leather belts I have owned. I purchased a nylon web belt with a ratchet mechanism a while back, but it seems to be loosening up from when it was new already. This belt seems to be more robustly made. Definitely recommend this belt.

I carry IWB and love the ratcheting belts because of how easy it is to tighten and loosen with one hand discretely. It's a very study belt for this purpose.

These are now my husband’s favorite belt. They are a little wider than the other belts he has. He loves how easy it is to loosen or tighten.

Looked nice, easily adjustable . I ordered the largest available for my 42 in jeans and it is almost to short. Can't eat to much because may won't be able to latch the belt.

Needs some softening of the belt as it's extremely rigid and loses the smooth leather look instantly

I really like the ratchet system INC with the look of an actual belt buckle.

I have a 38" waist, I sized up to a 44/46, since the belt can be trimmed. Which I'm glad I did, I just don't think going up 1 size would have been enough? Why take the chance. I've only been wearing it for a few days, so far so great! It's a sturdy belt, definitely not flimsy. The buckle is strong looks good, it's quite not a lot of rattling, I read a lot of reviews of other buckles that are loud and rattle. This one is good!
It's the first ratchet belt I've owned, I highly recommend it. I got this one on sale for $8.95 I expecting it to suck, I'm so happy it's a good belt. We'll see in time if it holds up. It seems to be stitched well, I have high hopes.
I'm not a belt aficionado, but a $40 belt would seem reasonable.

This is a good "jean belt". Good thickness and width. Unlike many ratchet belts, this one comes sized. Given the heavy weight of the strap it is a good thing - you wouldn't want to have to cut it. Its not leather but rather "genuine synthetic leather" (printed on the belt). The odd thing is the material smells like leather. "Made in PRC" is also on the belt, so like most ratchet belts it is made in China. This said, it seems pretty well made and is a good value for the money.

Have been looking for a wider belt that fits the wider belt loops on cargo shorts and military style trousers.I am not in my prime of my life anymore, and have put on some weight after back surgery two years ago. The thinner belts tend to roll over from the weight of the belly, and don’t hold my trousers up around my waist like they need too. This belt is exactly what I wanted and needed, it is wider, stronger, and the metal clasp is heftier and feels like it has great strength to it. Great belt that keeps your trousers up where they need to be!

The belt is well made. I prefer the buckle mechanism where you just lift the main buckle vs this one which uses a very small secondary lever

This is such a great idea. These belts are great - infinitely adjustable. No in-between holes - never too loose or too tight. I will mentions two caveats. Size - order the next up from you actual waist size. My waist is in the 33 inch range but the 32/34 was too small. I ordered the 36/38 and it fits perfectly. Next - familiarize yourself with how the belt works and learn how to undo the belt before you put it on.

Glad for the belt, but I ordered a few on a few different occasions and not all of them were the same style, with the click adjustment (about the coolest feature on a belt that I've ever seen, and it certainly beats the worn-out holes that stretch). I'm a big, fat guy and this type of belt works great for me. I'm tired of buying $25 belts from Kohls and having the "leather" wear out after just a few months and have the holes stretch to 3/8" long (maybe I should lose some weight). Overall, a good deal; we'll see how long they last.
